The Strategic Leadership Visibility Framework™ (SLVF™) — mapping the path from visibility to authority.
Being seen and being strategically visible are not the same thing. Many accomplished leaders are known within their own organizations, yet remain invisible to the broader industry, market or community that could benefit from — and amplify — their expertise. The Strategic Leadership Visibility Framework™ (SLVF™) was built to close that gap.
Rather than treating visibility as a matter of simply "getting out there more," SLVF™ treats it as a strategic discipline. It gives leaders a structured way to answer the questions that determine whether their expertise is actually recognized where it matters:
The Questions SLVF™ Answers
What You Want to Be Known For
The specific expertise, point of view or body of work that should define your reputation.
Who Needs to Know It
The audiences, stakeholders and decision-makers whose recognition actually matters to your goals.
What Evidence Proves It
The documented, verifiable proof that backs the claim — not assertions, but a record others can trust.
Where Expertise Should Appear
The platforms, publications and rooms where that evidence will actually reach the right audience.
What Narrative Ties It Together
The consistent story that links each piece of evidence into one coherent, recognizable body of authority.
Visible. Chosen. Trusted. Authority.
"Visibility without strategy is just noise. Visibility with strategy becomes authority."
Where SLVF™ Came From
Felecia Ward developed the Strategic Leadership Visibility Framework™ from more than 35 years of experience elevating and positioning leaders. SLVF™ was entered into her Thinkers360 leaderboard in 2023 to pre-qualify her 2024 membership — a recognition of the framework's rigor as a standalone methodology.
SLVF™ does not stand alone. Alongside Evidence-Based Storytelling™ (EBS™), it underpins The Chrysalis Journey™ — Ward's signature leadership evolution experience — providing the strategic lens through which a leader's evidence and story are made visible to the people who need to see them.
