A few weeks ago I needed to recap a Wells Fargo Advisors project from twelve years ago. On its own, that trail had mostly gone cold — old sites redesigned, links dead, nothing indexed. What saved it was a completely different piece of documentation: a detailed event recap I'd written for the St. Matthews Baptist Church 5K Run from around the same period. Its dates gave me the anchor I needed to go back through old emails and other artifacts and rebuild the Wells Fargo timeline piece by piece.
"You'd assume that in 2025 and 2026 — with search engines, cloud storage, and digital media everywhere — nothing gets lost anymore. It's the opposite. Link rot is happening faster, not slower."
Thinkers360 changed a badge link on me within two weeks. I've spoken at events where the session recording was taken down inside a week. Most sites only keep five years of accessible archive before material gets shipped to storage, and getting it back means a written request and a wait. If you don't capture your images, video links, and other digital evidence immediately, it can disappear for good — and no amount of searching later will bring it back.
That gap — between doing meaningful work and having a discoverable, verifiable record of it — is exactly what Evidence-Based Storytelling™ (EBS™) was built to close. And it's why I'm opening up the process itself in an interactive session.
Bring One Win
The EBS™ Masterclass: Turn Your Evidence Into Authority asks each participant to bring one real accomplishment, credential, project, case study, milestone, or announcement — and walk through the same framework I use with my own work and with clients: BUILD → DOCUMENT → PUBLISH → AMPLIFY → VALIDATE → COMPOUND.
What Participants Leave With
- The ability to recognize the evidence already embedded in their own work
- One accomplishment documented with the dates, context, links, and visuals that make it verifiable
- One clear, consistent story built from that evidence — without exaggerating or changing the underlying facts
- A map of which owned, earned, shared, and third-party channels are appropriate for distributing it
- The branded EBS™ Optimized Documentation SOP, so the process is repeatable going forward
We use my own 2022–2026 authority-building timeline as the teaching case study — not because it's dramatic, but because it's ordinary: content and brand infrastructure built quietly in 2022, a co-authored book and a professional community invitation in 2023, consistent publishing and collaboration in 2024, third-party recognition beginning in 2025, and a compounding set of credentials in 2026.
The elves were working behind the scenes long before Santa arrived.
Credibility isn't declared. It's documented. Authority isn't manufactured. It's accumulated — one dated, verifiable piece of evidence at a time.
EBS™ Masterclass: Turn Your Evidence Into Authority
Bring one win. Leave with a documented, discoverable, verifiable authority asset — and the repeatable process to build the next one.
